Bill Radvak, BASc – President, CEO and Director

Bill Radvak received a Mining and Mineral Process Engineering Degree (1986) from the University of British Columbia. In January 2010 he joined American Vanadium as President and CEO. Previously, Mr. Radvak was a Founder and past CEO of Response Biomedical, a publicly listed medical device company that commercializes rapid immunoassay diagnostic tests for its marketing partners, 3M and Roche Diagnostics. Mr. Radvak led Response Biomedical from its evolution to a 90-employee company, and raised in excess of $50 million in public offerings.

Ron MacDonald - Executive Chairman, Director 

Ron MacDonald's extensive career has included such positions as: the former Senior Assistant to the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister, Chief of Staff to the Leader of the Government in the Senate of Canada, Parliamentary Secretary of International Trade and elected Member of Parliament.  In addition while President of the Council of Forest Industries, Mr. MacDonald pioneered the development of Asian markets for Canadian lumber products. He was also a contributing member of the OECD Committee on ethical minerals, a contributor to the EU Commission Framework 7 policy paper on ‘Scarcity of Strategic Minerals’ and a speaker at conferences in the USA, Canada and Asia on critical and strategic markets.

Alan Branham, CPG – Director

Alan Branham has more than 25 years of exploration experience. Most recently, Mr. Branham served as President and CEO of Midway Gold Corp, directing the company for six years into several new gold discoveries in Nevada. The largest Nevada discovery he directed is the Spring Valley gold deposit, currently being developed by Barrick. Mr. Branham is a certified professional geologist with a Masters of Science Degree in Economic Geology from Washington State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Stanford University. He worked for 21 years for Newmont Mining Corp throughout the Americas, and was directly involved with three gold discoveries in western California and along the Carlin Trend in Nevada.

Brian Bayley – Director

With over 25 years of business experience, Brian Bayley has extensive knowledge in asset backed lending, real estate, corporate restructuring and natural resources. Mr. Bayley is currently a Director and Resource Lending Advisor of Sprott Resource Lending Corp. (formerly Quest Capital Corp.), a TSX Exchange and NYSE Amex listed resource lending corporation. Previously, he was President and CEO of Quest Capital Corp. Since December 1996, Mr. Bayley has also served as the President and Director of Ionic Management Corp., a private management company providing various consulting, administrative and management services to publicly traded companies. Mr. Bayley is currently a director and/or officer on numerous other public companies. Mr. Bayley holds an MBA from Queen's University.

George T. Hawes – Director

Mr. Hawes is a private investor.

Dr. E. Kelly Hyslop – Director

Dr. Hyslop is retired after 25 years as a Physician and Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at UBC. He has also taught non-seismic geophysics and geochemistry to the oil industry when with Barringer Research for 12 years. He is and has been involved in multiple startup, Earth Science and Biotechnology companies, generally raising capital and advising in the inter-phase between science and finance; and then involved on the Board or Directors of these companies.
